Yuchao Jiang graduated her Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Information Engineering) degree from Dalian University of Technology in China. Yuchao completed her Master of Philosophy in Computer Science in 2017.

Her research project focused mainly on Sketch Image Classification Using Deep Features. She is also involved in the mini project ‘Point Baxter’ at the Centre, which aims to get robots to identify the given tools in the line diagram and recognizes the same object classes (such as hammer, tongs, screw driver) on the table. The key idea behind this project is to develop a small demonstrator to show human robot interaction.

Yuchao is now a PhD Researcher at UNSW Sydney.
