Yiran Zhong received a M.Eng in information and electronics engineering in 2014 with first class honours from ANU.  After two years as a research assistant, he became a PhD student at the College of Engineering and Computer Science, ANU, Data61, CSIRO, and the Centre.  He won the ICIP best Student Paper Award in 2014. His current research interests include geometric computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning.
