Before moving to Australia, Will was a software development team leader in the UK. When he arrived in Australia he joined a Queensland Government agency from 2004-2014 as a software development team leader working on web interfaces, web applications and application integration.

Will received a B.Sc. (Cybernetics and Control Engineering) from the University of Reading in 1999. Will started his PhD in 2015, titled “High-Level Vision Services for Distributed Robotic Vision”. He left in 2018 to pursue opportunities in industry and joined Boeing Aerostructures Australia in Melbourne as a Software Engineer in March 2019. In 2020 he became a software test engineer for Airbus Australia Pacific.
