Stephanie completer her PhD in December 2014 at QUT. Her research project focused on increasing the robustness of visual place recognition for robots operating in environments that change in appearance. It was part of the Lifelong Robotic Navigation Using Visual Perception project (ARC Discovery Proposal DP110103006). Her PhD thesis “Visual place recognition for persistent robot navigation in change environments” was supervised by Chief Investigators Professor Michael Milford and Professor Gordon Wyeth.
Stephanie is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AAAS) at Örebro University, Sweden. Her PhD thesis is available on QUT ePrints
