Pulak received a PhD in computer science from the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, India, in 2014. He was a postdoctoral researcher with the University of Adelaide, from September 2013 to February 2016 and again from September 2018. He spent two years (2016-2018) at Toshiba Research Europe, Cambridge UK before returning to the University of Adelaide. His research interests include image processing, computer vision and machine learning. He joined the Centre in 2018 and is currently leading a project on 3D scene graph generation.
