Anders Eriksson received his Msc degree in Electrical Engineering in 2000 and his PhD in mathematics in 2008, both from Lund University, Sweden. His research areas include optimization theory and numerical methods applied to the fields of computer vision and machine learning. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Adelaide and a a DECRA fellow with QUT.  He left QUT in 2019 to take up the position as Associate Professor, School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at the University of Queensland.
